IFS, BRC, FSSC, ISO 22000 – food safety management system

FSSC 22000
Food Safety System Certification represents a complete certification scheme for meeting food safety requirements. The FSSC 22000 certification is based on existing ISO standards and is fully recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). The FSSC 22000 scheme consists of the ISO 22000 standard itself, the sector-specific requirements (PRPs) and the specific requirements of FSSC 22000. The FSSC 22000 system is intended for the certification of food safety systems for manufacturers focused on the production or processing of animal products, perishable plant products, products with a long shelf life, production of packaging for the food industry, other ingredients and supplements such as additives, vitamins, bio-cultures
HACCP
HACCP, or System of Risk Analysis and Determination of Critical Control Points, is now a mandatory tool for food manufacturers, which helps to prevent risks in the field of food safety. The HACCP system is intended for all entities working in the field of production, management, handling and distribution, storage and sale to the end consumer. The HACCP system consists of 7 main components:
- Conducting hazard and risk analysis
- Determination of critical control points
- Determination of signs and critical limits for critical points
- Monitoring the status achieved at critical points
