Personal certification
in the sense of the international standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17024, it is a process where an impartial, for this purpose qualified (accredited) body (third party) verifies the knowledge of applicants. In cases of accredited certification, the certification exam verifies:
- practice and results,
- application ability,
- knowledge.
An applicant who passes the exam will receive a certificate of competence, i.e. a document that proves to him and his employer that he has successfully met the requirements and that he is authorized and able to hold the relevant position.
Accredited certification means that the knowledge required to obtain the certificate is verified by a body that is not involved in personnel or otherwise in the education and preparation for the exam (a third party).
